Services we provide to CIT students
COUNSELLING SERVICE
The CIT Counselling Service is a free and confidential counselling service.Here to help and support you to deal with any personal issues that cause stress and upset as you journey through college.
The Counselling Service aims to provide opportunities for students to explore issues of concern, and to discover/clarify ways of living more resourcefully in a confidential environment. In short the service promotes self-development and self-awareness, and aims to enable the student take effective control of their lives.
CAREER SERVICE
The Careers Service offers a range of services to students including:
Careers Advisory Service: Provides One-to one student career guidance consultations on a drop in and appointment basis.
Careers Education: The Careers Service provides class presentations on career topics such as CVs, Interviews and job hunting during the course of the academic year.
Careers Information: Resources are provided in the Service Information room and college library to assist students in career exploration and job hunting.
Employer liason and graduate recruitment: Students get the opportunity to meet with employers directly through college presentations, annual careers fair and actively informs students of job vacancies.

The Service has an Information Room where students can access employer information, undergraduate/postgraduate information, application forms, factsheets and Counselling information.
